The Month of May and June Goals

May has been a great month.  Even though it was crazy with all the end of the school year things, I was still able to do a lot of sewing.  I even set up my own quilt display for a talent night at church.

I participated in the Spring Blogger's Quilt Festival, entering my A Lovely Twist quilt.  It was my first time.  I plan on doing it again in the fall.

I made gifts for two teachers.  There were foxes for Mrs. Fox...

And Roses for Mrs. Rose.

Cheesy, I know.  ;)

Plus I altered a pattern quite a bit to make a dust cover for my Tiara and wrote a tutorial about it.

I had fun experimenting with long arm rulers with Princess El, and made this fun mini quilt

Plus, I finished three lap quilts all about 60 x 70 inches.  The first was Serenity, a gift for my mother-in-law and my May goal for A Lovely Year of Finishes.

Then there was Flower Lane to donate to Happy Chemo as part of the Hands2Help challenge.

And finally there was a Cuddle Quilt, which I ended up keeping.

So my goal for June for A Lovely Year of Finishes is to make a quilt for my brother.  (And actually give it to him!)

Also coming up in June is the New Quilt Blogger's Blog Hop.  The hop starts on June 4, and my day for the hop is June 11.

Plum and June

Have a wonderful month!

Jasmine

  9. I wouldn't have been able to walk by your display, I would have been spellbound. You had another productive month. It looks like so much when you list it all like that. I'm beginning to wonder if you ever sleep.
