A Skeleton in My Closet

I applied the gift card I won from my challenge quilt toward a big roll of 120 inch wide Hobbs 80/20 batting.  This big package makes me so happy.  :)  Panda and Monkey helped me pick it up at my LQS.  When we got home, I decided the closet in my craft room needed a good organization.

Not only does my closet feel cleaner, but my whole room feels cleaner.

I have decided that I like having both the table tops and under the tables clear.  I moved two big tubs from under the table to the left of the window into the closet.

How it looked before.

How it looks now.

The tubs contain quilts and supplies I use in my Free Motion Quilting classes.  Every time I had my quilt group at my house I hid them in Cheetah's bedroom.  It was my husband's idea to store them on top of my Expedit in the closet.  I really like having them up there.

Now, you may wonder what the skeleton is in my closet.  It isn't some deep, dark, secret that I'm about to confess.

It is a glow in the dark skeleton panel Monkey and Panda convinced me to buy when we picked up the batting.  It is from "The Boo Crew" by Blank Quilting.

Monkey and Panda have chosen the perfect place for it to hang up in our new house and are anxiously waiting for it to be finished.  They have discovered that the closet is a great place to test the glow in the dark attributes even in the middle of the day.  The boys will have to be patient, because I'm not sure when I will get to it.

Don't you wish you had such a cute skeleton in your closet?

XX,
Jasmine

  1. Your room and your closet both looks great. I love to sew in a clean room. I'm so much more productive that way.

  2. LOL It is a very cute skeleton and the fact that it glows in the dark is awesome! I appreciate a good cleaning, too, and I often feel much more creative and energized after organizing my space.

  3. I had a glow in the dark, wee, ghostie finger puppet when I was a child - it was so cute! It held a little sign that said, "BOO". I loved to "charge it up" (let it soak up light from a bulb) right before bed so he would glow me to sleep. Your boys will have great memories of the skeleton in your closet! (Which looks great, by the way.)
