Star of Wonder Two

I made this quilt for my niece Mrs. S and her husband for their wedding (a little late).  It probably looks familiar because I made a larger blue star quilt last year.

The one for Mrs. S only uses two different blue fabrics on the top.  One is the center star and binding and the other for the rest of the diamonds.  It is a lap quilt rather than a twin size quilt.

I quilted it on the Bernina Q24 with a spiral design.

It has a navy blue minky on the back.

The color of the minky shows up the best in the picture with the label.

I made it with lots of love.

I still have one more wedding quilt for make for a nephew this year.  It will be in sea green.

XX,
Jasmine

P.S.  I will be joining some of the fun linky parties on my sidebar.  Check them out to see what other quilters have been up to.

  5. Beautiful quilts! Love the simplicity of the pattern and only using 2 colors. What size are your half square triangle units? 10"? bfiresheets@bellsouth.net

  6. My favourite colour (as you know), and so rich a quilt! Love it with the white, and it'll be so cuddly with the Minky on the back. You are a sweetheart auntie.
