I'd say that one thing I like doing is having a night when I'm not too tired and don't have to be up early in the morning. Late night quilting sessions on occasion are some of my favorite. And, I do like how Rich in Love turned out. I really want to use up more of my stash but I'm weak and so tempted by all the pretty new fabrics :D (which I then never use and they sit in my stash because I find the next pretty new fabrics lol). Your quilts are inspirational on how fabric can be used without looking crazy!

I'm trying to work on the amount of WIPs I have. Which is hard because I constantly want to start new things. I just have to get into the habit of finishing new things before I start something else!!

I love you post-it note tip! My habit that I'd love to change is to be more organised and neat and tidy - your craft room looks amazing! But it's tricky here - my sewing area is my kitchen table, and I like to use recycled fabrics (often large sheets, blankets as well as odd cut up bits from clothing) rather than lovely, neat FQs. Combine this with me being generally disorganised and untidy and you have a very messy house!Wonky Patchworkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13877163026017340681noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-581833911268371551.post-37653171245735618722014-06-16T08:55:18.041-06:002014-06-16T08:55:18.041-06:00Wow--I am so impressed with your organized sewing ...Wow--I am so impressed with your organized sewing room!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-581833911268371551.post-22516234796024574972014-06-15T13:15:43.066-06:002014-06-15T13:15:43.066-06:00Hi Jasmine, I really like your rich in love quilt....Hi Jasmine, I really like your rich in love quilt. Do you have a pattern for that, or know where I could find it? I also sew without my shoes on because I feel the pedal with my foot, and can control it better than when I am wearing shoes. I would like to change 2 quilting habits. 1. Keeping my sewing area my tidy. 2. This idea came from reading your introduction. So thank you. I am going to just use my stash to make my next several quilts, so I too, can add more modern fabrics to it. Great idea. It is nice to meet you.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07875338076567202555noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-581833911268371551.post-13795224525402433822014-06-14T20:25:53.587-06:002014-06-14T20:25:53.587-06:00Great introduction post Jasmine. All of your quilts are beautiful but I especially like Solstice and can't wait to read your post on how you made the twister quilt without the template. Thanks for sharing. I'm very OCD as well and like my quilting space to be neat and tidy. Having too many WIPS overwhelms me at times so I wish I could just relax a bit on that. I also wish I was more organized with my scraps. I've been wanting to make one but have such a long to do list... lol. All your quilts are lovely. It is satisfying to make a quilt entirely from my stash. My shelves never seem to empty out, however, as new fabric seems to show up to replace what I've used. ;)Karin Jordanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02411303805050553168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-581833911268371551.post-35260358747004370782014-06-13T21:30:08.380-06:002014-06-13T21:30:08.380-06:00I am going to try to use more of my stash this yea...I am going to try to use more of my stash this year too. Your quilts prove it can be done without looking mismatched or scrappy. The colours of your quilts are great!
I think the quilting habit I would like to tame is that I never know how many WIPs I have on the go. I am naturally a list person, but I never write them down for fear of confronting how long the list would be. I wish I could focus on just three or four things at a time (I need variety).
