Moving
I am thrilled to say that my new house is finished. Just a few things need fixing, and we have already started the moving process. Needless to say that things have been a little crazy over here.
Here is a sneak peek at my craft room over the garage. :) We have three tone paint throughout the house. The wall color is Sherwin Williams Accessible Beige. It is a chameleon kind of color, sometimes looking beige and other times looking gray. I love it!
This is my future design wall, sewing, and ironing area.
I will set up my quilting machine (Tiara) in front of the window and may have a play area for Monkey.
It is a big, beautiful room about 14 by 20 feet. (Big enough for a long arm in the future.) I will probably have a home tour when we are more settled.
Thanks for visiting and sharing in my excitement!
XX,
Jasmine

ReplyDeleteYay for moving! I love your sewing room - my in laws have the same space over the garage and the grandkids dubbed it "the upstairs basement." I told my MIL when we move in (haha!) I'm taking over that space for sewing. It's just perfect for it!
ReplyDeleteCongrats, it looks great! Very happy for you :)

ReplyDeleteI hope your move goes smoothly, and that you meet all sorts of wonderful neighbors.
We moved a lot back in the day, as in the Washington DC suburbs, real estate flipping was a great way to build our nest egg. We always bought new homes in new neighborhods. All of you will fit just perfectly in this house! Your boys will grow up with other great kids.
Life is such a great adventure.
I ended up moving my whole sewing and crafting space down stairs next to the kitchen in the morning room.
My daughters are grown and married and live close by. Christina aleays says, mom you should have done this sooner. Now i can "cook" (lol) and sew - well, when i am home.
Taking care of mom and dad is still ny full time job
Have a fun move!
Congratulations, Jasmine! Hope the process went smoothly. Can't wait to see your room filled and ready for sewing!
