HST Quilt Progress - Finally

I finally made more progress on my Half Square Triangle quilt.  The completed blocks sat in a box for more than a year waiting for the sashing and cornerstones.  Hopefully the top won't wait as long to be quilted.  This has definitely been a WISP (work in slow progress) just like the original quilt I bought the fabric for, Dancing Daisies.  I'm glad these scraps are one step closer to a finished quilt.

P.S.  I will be linking up with some of the fun parties on my sidebar including Oh Scrap!

  1. Very pretty - hard to believe this is scraps from another project!

  2. Yeah for progress! I am sure you'll have it quilted before long.

  3. That looks fantastic! The fabrics are so cheerful and the blocks are all so fun :)

  4. A glimpse of spring as temperatures "fall" sharply. I remember the Drunkard's Path quilt that you hand sewed. These are the same fabrics - still love them!!!

  5. Pretty pretty! It will get done when the time is right :)

  6. This cheerful quilt will be well worth the wait. Sometimes our quilts just need to age before finishing. And, remember, you've been BUSY in that year that it's waited. SEW... give yourself a break!!
